I'm an Uggs convert. I thought they were ugly 'it shoes' that college kids wear. But on a whim I decided to try some on at a department store as I was looking for some knew comfy and lined winter boots. From the moment I put them on my feet, I fell in love and understood what all the hype was about. I still don't wear these for a fashion statement, but for keeping my tootsies warm and comfy, they work a treat.It's because they're so warm and comfy that they still get 4 stars despite the following flaws:Th construction of the leather at the toe isn't the best. I guess this also get the brunt of any movement inside the shoe as your toes curl and relax while walking, but this is actually my 2nd pair of Uggs because the first one tore at the toe when I bumped into a curb. And I didn't snag it with that much force.The sizing is slightly inconsistent. I think it's a given they run large, but the last time I got a full size down and they fit perfectly. This time, they're a bit snug. Not enough to send back, but you can see my toes straining at front of the boot. And I fear another hole will appear in these boots as well.The cardboard material in the heal can be easily bent. In my first pair of hugs it obviously got bent when I was putting my feet in it and it rubbed so much that it wore a hole in my heel until I got a chance to take them off and readjust the cardboard. The god news is it is readjustable, but it still take some work to get it back to a comfortable position. And there had been several times I've had this back bit digging in my heel since then. Although never to the point of bleeding like the first time.All and all a great comfy boot to take you from fall to early spring.Bought these as a gift for my sister and they looked great! She wore them all winter long for many winters and they held up great! They fit perfectly and were a great price.I love these boots and just about live in them…This was the second pair in black in 10 years and the first ones are still kickin it! I have 2 houses so no the old pair goes to my cabin❣️Ps I have all colors!These shoes are really cute in navy. I bought them to wear with jeans and I wanted a pair that was not the traditional brown or black. They do the trick, they keep me warm and they look good in my opinion. Now people argue whether Uggs are cute or not, I think they are and this is just my personal opinion. I like that they don't go up all the way to the knee, they stop mid-calf.But, and here is the big but: these shoes make my ankles hurt when I wear them all day long and I stand and walk a lot. You can google "Uggs and ankle pain" and you will find a lot on the internet about people saying they hurt their feet. Unfortunately, I made the experience that this is true. But there is a remedy: put a good arch support into the shoes and do not wear them all day long unless you just sit at a desk. Or wear them only for about four hours a day. I enjoy the shoes without pain, but only if I don't overdo it.I own another pair of Uggs and it is one of the models that is more like a regular boot and they are fantastic and comfortable, but they do have a great insole with arch support and they are not loose around the foot.I did not have a problem like some other reviewers with authenticity. My seller was fine, the shoes are new and they include the seal inside.I found the UGG classic short boots true to size despite some reviews saying they ran big. I like them so much that I bought a second pair in a different color. I'm a solid size 8, tried both sizes 7 and 8, and the 8 fit perfectly. My toes hit the front of the boot in the 7's, and even though they'll stretch with wear, I felt like I might wear a hole in the toe portion of the 7. The Ugg website has a size chart that I checked before deciding on size--it tells you what size is appropriate based on the length of your foot in inches or centimeters. The size chart calls for women's size 8 since my foot is 9.5" in length.I wear my Uggs without socks and was pleasantly surprised that even in 74-degree weather recently, my feet did not sweat while wearing them! Both pairs I ordered are real UGGs by Deckers...I scanned the authenticity label and it was confirmed. Interestingly, one pair I got said "Made in China" on the label and box, and the other said "Made in USA" but BOTH were the real deal based on the authenticity labels inside the boots. I also bought a pair of classic shorts from Amazon in girl's size 2 for my niece and was easily able to verify their authenticity, too. They look great with pretty much anything!I was looking for a boot to pull over black tights/running pants and jeans that were easy on/easy off and these are it. They are mid calf height and on my short frame (5'2") the height is perfect. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe but always get a boot in a size 8. Got these in an 8 which was the right choice. Comfortably snug, no rubbing on the heal or squashing the toes. Nice and warm on those cold days we have been having in the great northeast. Have worn in the snow but not to the point where they get soaked through. My daughter has worn these ugg's for years and they last so I thought I'd get a pair too and I am so glad I did, wish I had gotten them sooner. Got the gray over the black to minimize showing any salt dust, good choice not so much for the salt but because they look great with all my black exercise pants and tights. Will probably get a pair in tan too because I like them so much. P.S. I have been washing my daughter's ugg's on hand wash with woolite in the washer for years. They do reach a point where this won't work anymore, but it makes them last a bit longer. Rewaterproof with spray after!Works greatThird pair. Love themI purchased these UGG Boots for my wife as a present, she had the classic tall and wanted the short version. They arrived and after a week of occasional wear stitching around the ankle started to unravel. I sent the boots back for a refund, there was not an option for a replacement pair?! I needed to buy a replacement pair so had a look online, at moneysavingexpert and there was a link to Rubbersole site who were an official stockist of UGG boots and they had 20% discount offer + free delivery. When the boots arrived my wife said immediately that the Boots bought from Amazon were fakes. The replacement pair were shaped to fit your foot, Fur twice as thick, stitching method different. a completely different boot in appearance and quality.I didn't think that I would be able to tell fake from genuine boots but the difference was obvious.Ich habe heute diese UGG Schuhe bekommen. Sie sind aus der zweiten und aktuellen Kollektion. Somit wasserabweisend was ja toll ist.. Karton, Heft Original. Und auch der Code im Schuh lässt sich scannen. Jetzt kommt aber der Hammer! Der linke Schuh ist echt mit dem Code und der rechte Schuh ist ein Fake! Was soll der Mist denn? Der linke Schuh das Etikett hinten ist top verarbeitet und am rechten garnicht und die Größe und Farbe ist anders...Very pleased with the boots, but after my daughter had wear around 8 to 10 times, the stitching has started to open up.I bought my ugg September 2017 and I’ve been treating with proper ugg products as adviced but they look horrible now. My friend have the same pair, grey short and hers are 3 years old and still look new. These must be fake as they are more brown now than grey and I’ve really looked after them well. I am so gutted, I should have bought them from a shop. Uggs should last years if you look after them. My brown uggs are 4 years old and looks a million times better. Do not buy from here! FAKE!!!!Beautiful Awesome I have my left leg broken in 16 places and was praying I could get the boot over my left ankle with a struggle I did and they fit like a glove. I just need help putting them on and taking them off. I scanned the left boot to prove authenticity perfect. Thank you
